provides comfort and support to patients, families and their community everyday.

June is a special month for many of us as we reflect on the fond memories we have of summer vacations, family gatherings or perhaps just those simple times sitting by the pool enjoying the company of our friends. These memories and events in life shared with those we love provide comfort and strength to each of us.
In this second edition of Everyday Compassion we have compiled wonderful stories from across the country that we hope will inspire our readers. As you read our magazine our desire is that you will discover hospice care in a new light....continues on page 2.

The holidays are a time for giving, a time for sharing and a special time to be with friends and family. During the holidays, many of us will celebrate the cherished memories of our past year while enjoying quiet moments with one another. For some, however, the holidays can be a difficult and lonley time, especially when it's the first one after a loved one's death. If you find yourself in this circumstance, the colleagues of Hospice Compassus would like to extend a warm embrace of care and support to you as we truly understand.
At Hospice Compassus may of our cherished moments come from the connections we share in caring for the terminally-ill patients and their families. In this third edition of Everyday Compassion we are pleased to have compiled a selection of stories that acknowledge and highlight some very special acts of compassion and love. I am both humbled by these stories and proud of the impact our colleagues and volunteers have with our patients and in our communities at large....continues on page 2.
